Think about it: if the program really works, they should have already been in the news for a very long time.
Pyramid Schemes – Pyramid schemes are often associated with scams and will forever be associated with it. This scheme will just force you to look for other members who will look for additional members and you are no longer concentrating on selling the product that you signed up with.
Envelope Stuffing and Home Assembly – any company that will require you to stuff envelopes for a fee or assemble something at the comforts of your home is more likely a scam. Although you will never have to pay for anything (except for shipping), you will never be compensated for your work.
Spotting a Legitimate Business Opportunity
The oldest trick in the book still works. A legitimate business should be registered with Better Business Bureau (BBB). This is probably the basic requirement that you should look for in a business when you are interested in a local business opportunity.
If you are planning to find work online, look for legitimate websites. There are also work at home forums that you can join wherein they provide tips, tricks and legitimate websites that offers a good business opportunity.
